Sir Ryan, Knight of the Square Table

I finally got my opportunity to go London. Always have been rather unmotivated to go regardless of how i convince myself that i so so very very wanted to go all this while. The trip was a blast i must say.

Firstly, like any other trip; there has to be some problems involved, especially with trains. Yes, we missed our train and ignorantly board another train going to london without giving much thought. We were fools to think we can fool the conductor, to brainstorm so dilligently for stories or replies to the conductor when he arrives. What can i say, tickets don't lie; and we got our bottoms kicked off the train at beeston station unless we are mad enough to pay 36 pounds for a single trip to London. Thats on top of the paid-reserve tickets we were already having!.

What would you do if you missed your train and then board a wrong train in which you get kicked out on some shack-like so called train station rather far from the main train station.? It was very frustrating in this period- all hope was gone. The plans were fading away....

Just when you think so, God Opens A Way!. We finally jump on the idea to take a ride back to Broadmarsh by train which only cost us 95p each. There, we sort things out with a customer manager who places us on a train heading to Grantham, Norwich. We taste relieve with hot chocolate while waiting for our ride.

Kings Cross, finally able to smell the Capital. Crashed at a friend's place near Earls Court, i must say i enjoyed it immensely!. The 3 guys living there surely know how to keep themselves entertained. They have got playstation with loads of games, with eyetoy and dance pads, personal shisha, exercise hanging bar, super computer and enough drinks to keep em happy.

Ran around looking for cheap tickets for Les Miserables but to no avail, the plan was dropped and we continue sight seeing. To Westminster's Abbey, National Potrait's Museum, Couple of Squares, Chinatown, London Eye, Tate Modern, Shakepeare's Globe Theatre, walked across the Millennium Bridge to glance at the St. Paul's Cathedral and make our way to Imperial College. The Malaysian Night, one of the main reasons of our arrival to London, the performance wa truly spectacular... it was a blast.

Whats truly sad about the trip was that i lost my voice several days before the trip and it was dreadful trying to chat around. I am by nature very chatty but due to this inconvenience, i was particularly 'cool' just stared around speaking at most neccessary moments. Matt's throat lozenges and meds did make it easier to live with.

Food was absolutely goooooood. The dim sum, cantonese yin-yong that i missed so much, ah! and surely the Fourseason's Duck. Santa maria!, it's definetely the most delicious meal i ever had in england. For malaysians, you can always go to Sunrise Duck in Paramount which is very comparable and as a bonus, you can serve it with sour plum sauce.

The last evening before the day we have to leave for Nottingham and attend class three hours upon arrival, it was what i would call a real chillin out session. Shisha + 4 Player Winning eleven until late night. How phat was dat?!

How could i have forgotten to include that i visited the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge. Tower of London was more enjoyable, the history it offers was intriguing as well as amusing. If i was a medieval knight, i could look something like this...
